How images are used here

Each photograph on this site is a freely licensed file from Wikimedia Commons. We resize and re-encode the originals for the web — nothing is cropped in a way that changes what the picture shows — and the author and licence travel with the image: they appear under the photo on the page and again in the list below.

Licences are Creative Commons or public domain. Where a licence requires attribution and share-alike terms, those terms apply to our version too. Where a file is in the public domain, no permission is needed, and we still credit the photographer.

If you hold rights to a file listed here and a credit is wrong, incomplete or missing, write to team@whale-watching.tours with the file name and we will correct it or remove the image.

The first column is the key we use in the page source, so a credit can be traced to the exact picture that carries it.
